(Scroll down for video) A doctor was arrested on a charge of kidnapping after allegedly kidnapping a woman from her home and raping her for a week, police in Sweden said.
Kristianstad police said that they have arrested the 38-year-old doctor, who was not identified, after he brought the kidnapped woman to a police station and forced her to say that she was not kidnapped.
The doctor was charged with rape and kidnapping.
According to the police investigation, the doctor went to the woman’s home, where he gave her chocolate dipped strawberries that were laced with drugs.
After she fell unconscious, he transported her to his car on a wheelchair. He took her to a soundproof dungeon in Kristianstad, where he kept her for six days.
Masks were found in the house of the doctor, and police believe that they may have been used as a disguise. Over a period of six days, the doctor sedated the woman and repeatedly raped her.
He conducted STD testing on the victim in a laboratory, and he intended to rape her without using protection.
After returning to her apartment to pick up some belongings, the doctor learned that the woman had been reported missing to the police.
He then took the victim to a police station, forcing her to reassure them that everything was fine. However, when she was taken aside by an officer, she revealed that she was kidnapped, and the man was arrested.
