Police in Pennsylvania, were called after a 4-year-old boy was found walking on the street alone at 9:45 p.m.
It was 30 degree and the boy was not wearing shoes, socks or a coat. The boy was taken to the police station.
One hour later, the boy’s mother and grandmother came to the police station to report the boy missing.
Police learned that the boy was with his father, 33-year-old James Grusofski of Washington County.
Police said that Grusofski was watching a football game with friends and left his three sons, aged 7, 4, and nine months old, sleeping outside in the freezing car.
His 4-year-old son woke up and left the car, and was found by good Samaritans. Grusofski only realized that his son was missing after he returned home, police said.
Grusofski admitted to drinking with his friends while watching the game. Police said that Grusofski became violent with officers after learning that he is under arrest.
He faces charges of endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
