(Scroll down for video) A teacher filed a lawsuit against a student, claiming that his outrageous and extreme behavior caused her to suffer emotional distress, according to court documents in Texas.
31-year-old Tanya Ramirez of Corpus Christi, told a court that the student recorded a video of them having sex without her permission and sent it to his friends.
Ramirez, a former King High School teacher, was charged with improper relationship between a student and educator after police learned of the sexual relationship she had with the 17-year-old student.
According to the police investigation, the incident occurred just before the end of the school year. The principal of the school called the police after the victim showed her the video of the sexual encounter.
The victim also shared the video with 11 of his friends. Ramirez told the court that the teen’s extreme and outrageous conduct caused her severe emotional distress.
Ramirez is also suing Kimberly Tademy, the mother of the teen, because she called her a sexual predator of children. Ramirez claims that the student was a consenting adult and not a child.
Ramirez claims that Tademy exposed her to public hatred, contempt, ridicule, and financial injury. Her claims also damaged her honesty and integrity.
