The Manchester Crown Court heard how 22-year-old Shadiya Omar, used her high heel shoes to stab the eye of 22-year-old Justin Lloyd.

Omar told the court that she was just trying to protect her friend who was fighting with Lloyd, but the court sentenced her to 18 months in prison, which was suspended for two years.

She was also ordered to complete six months of community service. According to the police investigation, Lloyd approached Omar’s friend and offered her a bag of potato chips.

However, she knocked the bag out of his hands. He then tried to pour the potato chips over her head, but Omar stabbed him in the eye with her high heel shoes.

Lloyd was left with bruises, cuts and bleeding to the bottom of his eye lid. Luckily, he did not lose his eyesight, but was forced to stop working because he was ashamed of his scarred eye.
