(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of solicitation to commit rape after allegedly stealing women’s Facebook accounts and telling man to kidnap and rape them, police in Massachusetts said.
Quincy police said that they have arrested 45-year-old Thomas Sheehan, after being accused of hacking into women’s Facebook account and communicating with men.
Sheehan was charged with solicitation to commit assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, solicitation to commit rape, solicitation to commit rape of a child and solicitation to commit kidnapping.
He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $15,000.
According to the police investigation, Sheehan posed as a woman using pirated photos of her Facebook page. Sheehan asked men to use dangerous weapons on women as part of the assault.
The woman is one of a 12 women police believe Sheehan impersonated. Six victims showed up in court to confront Sheehan.
Fortunately, no women were attacked despite the fact that Sheehan gave out their addresses.
