The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that 20-year-old Jonathan Tieu, 37-year-old Hossein Nayeri, and 43-year-old Bac Tien Duong, escaped from the Orange County Men’s Jail on Friday.

Tieu has been charged with one count of murder, Nayeri has been charged with torture and kidnapping, and Duong has been charged with one count of attempted murder.

Police warned the public that the men are very dangerous.

Officials offered a $50,000 reward for any information leading to their arrest.

According to the police investigation, the men spent a considerable amount of time cutting through the steel bars of a window.

Around 5:00 a.m. on Friday, just after the morning head count, the men tied towels and sheets to form a makeshift rope. The lowered themselves four floors to get to the street below.

They then fled on foot.
