Driver with $75 million in the bank and $100,000 in cash in his car runs out of gas

Police in Switzerland, were shocked to find $100,000 in cash in an abandoned car on the side of the road.

A few minutes later, they found the driver, who was not identified, walking on the side of the road in Saint Gallen, with a can of gasoline.

The incident unfolded on Friday, when police officers found the seemingly abandoned car at the side of the road. They tried to open the car and found that it was unlocked.

During routine search of the vehicle, officers found $98,000 in cash. Police found the money in an envelope on the front passenger seat.

When the found the owner of the vehicle a few miles away walking with a can of gasoline, he acknowledged owning the car parked on the side of the road.

He told police that he abandoned the car because he ran out of gas. Police detained the man because it seemed strange that a person with so much money would run out of gasoline.

It turned out that the man just inherited around $75 million.

He was very distracted and didn’t realize that his vehicle was about to run out of gas. In panic, he fled from the car to search for gas, leaving the envelope with cash behind on the seat.
