A man was arrested on a charge of rape after raping his sister and his stepdaughter, police in Pennsylvania said.
Now, 41-year-old Edward Geier of Centre County, has been convicted of more than 1,000 counts of sexual assault in connection with the rape of his 13-year-old stepdaugher and his 14-year-old sister.
The abuse came to light after police found Geier’s 13-year-old stepdaughter walking alone on the street. When asked why she wasn’t at home, she told police that she ran away because her stepfather was raping her.
The abuse lasted four years, and the girl told police that her mother warned not to tell anyone about the rape.
