The 99-year-old woman of Florida, said that she had the scare of her life when she woke up at 2:00 a.m. after feeling something on her chest.

The animal turned out to be a kinkajou, which is like a monkey, but it’s really in the family of raccoons. The animal is usually found in the rainforests of Central and South America.

When she awoke, the animal got frightened and ran to the woman’s attic. The elderly woman of Miami, called her daughter and friend to get the animal out of her home.

The woman’s daughter and the friend were able to coax the kinkajou out of the attic using a YouTube video.

The exotic animal was taken to the South Dade Animal Hospital. It was soon discovered that it belonged to Raymond Fernandez.

Fernandez was delighted to be reunited with his pet kinkajou. “I thought it was lost forever,” an emotional Fernandez said.
