(Scroll down for video) Men in California, can now legally urinate in public.
A new open-air urinal was introduced in a newly renovated park in San Francisco.
The park recently reopened after being closed for many years, due to renovations. The park was rundown after not being upgraded in 60 years.
The city has invested $20.5 million to renovate the park. However, the one feature that seems to be getting the most attention is a new a public urinal.
The open-air toilet is located right next to the train tracks in Dolores Park. The Parks and Recreation Department installed the outdoor urinal due to ongoing problems with people urinating on public buildings and in bushes.
“The more options we can give people to relieve themselves the better for the park-goers and for neighbors,” San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener said.
