A couple of the United Kingdom, was arrested after they stole decorative mirrors from a restaurant.

Prosecutors said that the couple of Sunderland, went to the restaurant for dinner, but were unhappy with the food and the service.

After having a disappointing evening at the restaurant in Tyne and Wear, Michael Ross, 36, and his girlfriend, decided to take the mirror as compensation for the lousy meal and bad service.

When employees of the Sambuca restaurant realized that the mirrors were missing, they reviewed surveillance video and saw the couple removing them.

Surveillance video showed Ross taking a mirror from the men’s bathroom while his girlfriend took another from the women’s bathroom.

The couple placed the mirrors in their baby’s carriage and walked away with them. They were later arrested. The mirrors were recovered. Police found the mirrors hanging on a wall in the couple’s home.

Ross of Brady Street, Pallion, pleaded guilty to theft at the Sunderland Magistrates Court. He was ordered to pay £210 ($300).
