(Scroll down for video) A Labour member of the British parliament, was suspended from the party after he was caught sending sexually explicit messages to an underage girl.
MP Simon Danczuk, 49, of Rochdale, is being accused of sending numerous inappropriate messages to Sophena Houlihan, after she contacted him about a job.
The National Executive Committee launched a full investigation and will determine the appropriate punishment.
In one of the messages, Danczuk asked Houlihan if she would like to be spanked. Houlihan said that she applied for a job with Danczuk, because she looked up to him.
Danczuk blamed his actions on a low point in his life. “Today’s Sun story, while not entirely accurate, refers to an extremely low point in my life,” Danczuk wrote on Twitter.
Danczuk also apologized to the teen.
“My behavior was inappropriate and I apologize unreservedly to everyone I’ve let down. I was stupid and there’s no fool like an old fool,” Danczuk said.
Recently, Danczuk was seen spending time with Labour councillor Claire Hamilton. However, since the allegations were made public, she decided to dump him.
