A teen in the United Kingdom, went public about his addiction to cereal and sugar after his weight soared.

19-year-old Phillip Patrick of Worcester, said that his life is spiraling out of control by his addiction to cereal and sugar.

In addition to eating 13 bowls of cereal each day, Patrick drinks tea with as much as six spoons of sugar in each cup. He eats about 7,000 calories every day, and he has gained 60 pounds in the past three years.

Patrick began to eat poorly when he moved out of his mother’s home. He is currently living with his partner, 19-year-old Sophie Richold.

His diet includes two bowls of cereal in the morning, each with 10 teaspoons of sugar. He then eats another four bowls of cereal around midday, and another two bowls at 3:00 p.m.

Around 6:00 p.m., he eats several more bowls of cereal. Before going to sleep, the young father of one child has three more bowls of cereal.

The strange addiction has caused him to lose his job at a bar last year, because he had no energy to serve customers during his shift.
