The father of a young girl in India, is pleading for help after doctors were unable to solve an insect problem with his daughter’s ears.

Doctors in Gujarat, already removed more than 1,000 ants from her ears, which were nesting in her ear canal.

12-year-old Shreya Darji said that about 10 ants crawl out from her ears every day. The problem first began with an irritation last summer.

When the irritation persisted, she was taken to a doctor who found ants inside her ears.

Doctors have removed hundreds of ants, but despite all the effort, the problem persists and the ants continue to reproduce.

Her desperate parents said that they have tried everything from traditional doctors and witch doctors, but the ants keep emerging from her ears.

Luckily, MRI and CT scans are all normal. The girl does not experience any pain and no damage has been found in her eardrums.

The father of the girl, 40-year-old Sanjay Darji, is terrified that the condition is getting worse and not better. He is worried about his daughter’s future and how this will affect her studies.

Other children are teasing her and are causing her to feel bad about herself.
