(Scroll down for video) Passengers on a train in Canada, freaked out after a raccoon hopped aboard for a ride, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday morning, as the train was traveling on the Yonge-University line in Toronto.

The unexpected passenger caused a delay in train service. The raccoon eventually left on its own.

According to a video uploaded to the Internet, the train service was suspended around 8:00 a.m., and all the doors remained open.

After a few minutes people noticed the raccoon walking around in the train. Everyone jumped out of their seats and ran to the platform.

At one point in the video, the raccoon is seen getting close to passengers and licking their shoes. Officials said that the raccoon was last seen walking in the subway tunnel between the stations of Spadina and St. George.

The only complaints passengers had is that the raccoon got to ride the train for free.
