Pizza delivery driver stops two brothers who carjacked Papa John’s customer in restaurant parking lot

Two brother were arrested after carjacking a man at a Papa John’s restaurant.

A pizza delivery driver in Florida, stopped two brothers from getting away with a stolen car.

Palm Beach Gardens police said that the suspects carjacked a man at gunpoint around 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Papa John’s located at 9089 N. Military Trail.

The victim was leaving Papa John’s with two pies and got into his Hyundai Sonata, when two men, one armed with a pistol, demanded the keys.

Wiltavious Peterson, 18, and Willie Peterson, 20, both of West Palm Beach, took the customer’s car and phone before driving away.

The victim spotted the pizza delivery driver and told him about the incident. The delivery driver maneuvered his car to block the thieves from getting out of the parking lot.

That is when the suspects ran from the car. Police officers told the victim to call his wife, and the stolen cellphone was tracked to a nearby street.

Both men were captured after a brief chase, police said.

Wiltavious Peterson was charged with carjacking, robbery, possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Palm Beach County jail without bail.

Willie Peterson is charged with carjacking, theft and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Palm Beach County jail on $50,000 bail.
