(Scroll down for video) A woman died while working at a bakery after being sucked into a giant industrial mixer, police in Utah said.
The Sandy Police Department said that 45-year-old Carmen “Jackie” Lindhart, was working at the Ream’s Food Bargain Warehouse located at 8725 South on Highland Drive on Wednesday, when she was pulled into the mixer.
A coworker heard her screams and ran to the machine. The coworker switched the machine off, but it was too late.
Lindhardt died at the scene from her injuries. Investigators said that there does not seem to be any criminal element to the death, but the investigation is ongoing.
Investigators also said that loose clothing might have been a contributing factor to the accident. She left behind one adult son with numerous nieces and nephews.
