A doctor almost fled from justice as his plane was pulling away from the gate.
However, the pilot was soon ordered to return to the gate, after FBI agents in New York, learned that the doctor was leaving the country.
Dr. Noel Blackman, 68, of Far Rockaway, who has offices in Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn, was being investigating for weeks when devils learned that he was flying to his native country of South Africa.
Blackman was sitting on a plane that was about to take off from Kennedy Airport at midnight, when Homeland Security investigators were tipped off about his departure and the plane was ordered back to the terminal.
Blackman was charged with illegally prescribing more than 350,000 pills of oxycodone, officials said. Police also found about $30,000 worth of drugs hidden in his luggage at the airport.
