(Scroll down for video) People who love to cook at home, are now able to earn some extra cash thanks to a new app called Homemade.
Homemade connects hungry customers to delicious homemade, locally cooked food.
Consumers who miss the taste of their grandmothers’ food, can now find them on Homemade.
The founders of Homemade, said that they are building a marketplace for cooks to produce and sell food directly from their homes.
Homemade was designed to bring the cooks’ food and personal stories to the forefront, allowing customers to connect with the cooks on a much more personal level than a traditional dining experience.
Homemade allows the cooks to sell food directly to consumers from their homes. Chefs using the app say that they are surprised by the number of people willing to buy food from strangers.
One woman reported that she is earning $250 a week, by selling pizzas on Homemade.
