(Scroll down for video) Two teenage girls were found dead of gunshot wounds on school campus in a suspected murder suicide, police in Arizona said.
Glendale police said that they were called to the Independence High School, where they found the two dead 15-year-old girls.
Police found the weapon near the girls as well as a suicide note. Shots were reported around 8:00 a.m., when the first classes were scheduled to begin.
Officers who arrived at the scene found the two girls, each suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Investigators said that the evidence found at the scene leads them to believe that one girl shot and killed the other before taking her own life.
Detectives learned that the girls were close friends, and seemed to be lovers. As a precaution, police locked down the school.
This girls were identified as Dorothy Dutiel and May Kieu.
