(Scroll down for video) A thief in New York, shocked his victim by returning some of the stolen items.
Reilly Flaherty went to the Brooklyn Theatre, where he lost his wallet.
The wallet contained his credit cards, cash, driver’s license and metro card. Flaherty has given up on the items, but was shocked to receive an envelope at his house.
The envelope contained his credit cards and driver’s license, but not the cash, wallet or metro card. The thief also included a letter, stating that he kept the cash to buy some weed.
He also kept the metro card because the fare is $2.75 now, and he kept the wallet because it was kind of cool. “Enjoy the rest of your day,” the letter concluded.
Flaherty did not file a complaint with the police.
