A liquor store in Virginia, got a very unusual customer to browse around its shop last week.

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control uploaded photos from a security camera that captured a deer walking through the front door of one of the oldest liquor shops in Clifton Forge.

The deer pushed open the shop door and went straight to the bourbon aisle before being escorted out of a back door.

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control speculated whether the deer wanted to celebrate surviving this year’s hunting season.

The deer did not make any purchase because it had no money.

“Virginia ABC’s oldest, continuously running store in Clifton Forge had a different sort of customer strolling the aisles recently.

“The doe reportedly pushed open the store door and headed straight for the bourbon aisle before being shown out the back.

“Shopping for a ‘We made it through hunting season’ party? Got a better idea for a caption? Post your best,” the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control wrote on Facebook.
