A woman was arrested for threatening to stab another restaurant customer with a fork.
Davina Renee Cutchall, 41, of California, was arrested after police said she threatened to stab two people with a fork when she was asked to stop screaming profanities in the restaurant.
According to the Gainesville Police Department, Cutchall was eating at the Ocean Buffet on West Newberry Road, when she began swearing at someone on the other side of the room.
A woman asked Cutchall, not swear in front of her young son. Cutchall grabbed a fork and threatened to stab the woman. A man tried to stop her and stood between the two women.
Cutchall then poured soda onto the man’s face before trying to push past him, wielding the fork over the head with a stabbing motion downward, according to the report.
The other woman threw a plastic container filled with ketchup on Cutchall, before she ran out of the restaurant.
Police found Cutchall at a bus stop, and she was arrested.
Renee was charged with aggravated assault. Bail was set at $8,000.
