(Scroll down for video) A man in China, was pulled over by police while driving his car that looked like a police cruiser used in the United States.

Police in Xi’an, were taken aback when they saw a vehicle that looked like it belonged to a U.S. police department on their roads. The Mustang had the word POLICE on the hood of the car.

The black two-door car featured a white door with the word police on the door.

One the back end of the car, were stickers that said: “Emergency 911 response.” After pulling over the suspicious looking car, officers learned that the car did not belong to a U.S. police department, but rather to a native man who thought it would be cool to drive around in an official looking car.

Unfortunately, police did not see the funny side of it. The man was informed that what he was doing was actually illegal.

Police then searched the vehicle to see if there was any other illegal items in the car, but they didn’t find anything.

The man was informed that he has to remove the word police from his vehicle.
