A teenager was horrified when two armed robbers entered his home and demanded his cash.
The teen of Florida, told police that he posted a photo of $280 on Snapchat, hours before the robbery.
Officers responded to the victim’s house in the 4000 block of Sugar Pine Drive, where the 18-year-old man said that he was in his room playing video games when he heard a noise.
Thinking it was the family’s housekeeper, he ignored the noise. However, he was soon confronted by men wearing masks and armed with knives.
They demanded the $280 that they saw in the photo on Snapchat.
One of the men put the victim in a headlock and place a butcher knife to his neck. He then began to choke him, according to the police report.
The other robber who was armed with a steak knife, grabbed the teen’s wallet and watch before they fled.
A woman who was walking her dog, told officers that the two robbers got into a BMW, and drive down the street in reverse.
So far, police arrested 21-year-old Faried Said of Boca, for being involved in the robbery. He was charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary to a dwelling or structure.
