A man was arrested on a charge of theft after being accused of stealing thousands of bras and panties from a Victoria’s Secret store, police in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 47-year-old Pablo Munoz of London, has been sentenced to serve eight months in prison.

The prison sentence was suspended for two years in exchange for completing 250 hours of community service.

According to the police investigation, Munoz was working as a cleaner at the Victoria’s Secret store located on New Bond Street.

One day, as Munoz left a fitting room, an employee saw panties falling out from underneath his pants. The employee then reported the incident to the manager of loss prevention.

The next day, Munoz was watched and he was seen going into the fitting room at least five times and taking underwear.

The manager summoned Munoz to his office to talk about what he had seen, and asked him to empty his pockets and drop his pants.

Munoz dropped his pants, and the manager saw that he was wearing women’s underwear. Police raided Munoz’s home, and recovered 1,048 bras and panties.

The stolen items were estimated at 18,000 pounds ($25,000).
