Windsor police said that they have arrested 54-year-old Steven Mann and Leona Hunt, after Hunt’s 8-year-old son told school officials that he helps his mother’s boyfriend grow marijuana.

Mann was charged with one count of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, while Hunt was not yet officially charged.

Mann was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $10,000.

According to the police, the 8-year-old boy told school officials that he helps Mann grow special medicine that can cure any disease.

The boy described in detail what sounded like marijuana plants and then added that Mann was giving plants to anyone who needs medication.

A steady stream of people were coming to the house frequently, the child said. Police officers who raided the boy’s home, found two rooms dedicated to growing marijuana.

Police seized cash and paraphernalia, including pipes, rolling papers, bags of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, bongs, grinders and digital scales.

Mann admitted selling marijuana for $10 a joint.
