(Scroll down for video) Police in Ohio, were called to a church after its pastor was shot dead.
Witnesses said that Reverend William Schooler, was shot and killed at the end of his service on Sunday.
William Schooler, 70, was shot and killed in front of his parishioners at the St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton.
Police arrested his brother, 68-year-old Daniel Gregory Schooler. He was charged with murder.
Joyce Napier, a niece of the pastor and the suspect, said that her uncle Daniel, suffers from “bipolar and is schizophrenic. He had a lot of things going on he was dealing with.”
The incident unfolded around 12:30 p.m. Over 20 parishioners fled from the church as Daniel Schooler kept firing shots at his brother.
The pastor’s wife, who was with him at the time of the shooting, was not hurt.
“I want to make sure that the public understands this was not a random act of violence. This was somewhat of a domestic situation between family members,” Sgt. Creigee Coleman said.
