Twin brothers placed behind bars after beating each other up with grass cutter and fishing rod

(Scroll down for video) Twin brothers were arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly beating each other up with weird objects, police in Florida said.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested Matthew Summerall and Michael Summerall, both 22, after using a fishing rod and a grass cutter to assault each other during an argument.

The were both charged with one count of battery. The men were booked into the Lee County Jail.

According to the police investigation, the brothers had been arguing for several days, following the decision by Matthew and his girlfriend to move out of their shared home.

Michael claimed that his brother threatened him and then hit him in the arm with a grass cutter. The brothers then assaulted each other with a rake, fishing rod and a tree branch.

The police were called to stop the fight.

After being released from jail on bail, the two brothers said that they reconciled their differences, and the fight just got out of hand.
