A group of drug dealers in the Netherlands, used dangerous crocodiles to guard their stash of drugs and cash, but the reptiles didn’t manage to keep the police away.
Amsterdam police said that they have managed to shut down a large drug operation despite the fact that the criminals used crocodiles to guard their drugs and cash in a cage.
Police arrested eleven suspects, between 25 and 55 years old, and they seized 300,000 euros ($325,800) in cash. The suspects included the owner of the crocodiles.
Police also seized large quantities of synthetic drugs, firearms and 500,000 euros ($543,000) worth of crystal meth. Police also found the drug dealers’ list of several hundred customers.
Police restrained the crocodiles while removing the drugs and cash from the cage. The crocodiles were placed in the care of the suspects’ friend.
