(Scroll down for video) A large group of people in the United Kingdom, became angry after learning that a man who was begging for money on the streets, actually owns and drives a luxury car.
35-year-old Matthew Brinton of Newquay, received death threats and the window of his Audi sports car was smashed after he was recorded begging for money on the streets.
The value of the car is estimated to be worth around $70,000.
Last week, Brinton was seen loading up the trunk of his Audi in a parking lot on the same day he was begging for money and food with his dog beside him.
Police launched an investigation, and said that Brinton is a heroin addict with mental health problems. The police also said that the death threats do not present an immediate risk to Brinton’s safety.
So far, no arrests have been made.
