A man was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure after allegedly running after women while holding one hand in his pants, police in Washington said.
The Seattle Police Department said that they have arrested 33-year-old Stanley F. Cuyler, after being accused of wearing a long wig and shorts and running after women on the street.
Around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, officers Katrina Walter, Brad Devore and Shawn Crow, were responding to a report of a suspicious person creeping around a building in the 300 block of 18th Avenue.
On the way to the scene, they spotted Cuyler, who was wanted by police in connection with a number of different incidents in the East Precinct.
Officers arrested Cuyler, who identifies as a woman, and booked her into the King County Jail.
Bail was set at $100,000.
In another incident, Cuyler dressed in a long wig and cutoff denim shorts, and chased a woman in the Miller Park neighborhood early Thursday.
The woman was walking east on 15th Avenue East and East Thomas Street around 2:00 a.m., when she passed the suspect, who was headed the opposite direction on the street.
She soon noticed that Cuyler was following her, and had one hand down his pants.
When Cuyler greeted the woman, she crossed the street and began walking down the middle of the road so she would remain under the street lights.
As she approached 17th Ave. E, she noticed the suspect dashing toward her, and took off running and screamed for help.
She was able to flag down a car several blocks away, and got a ride home, where she called 911.
Investigators believe that Cuyler was involved in other incidents involving knocking on the windows of several women’s apartments, sometimes while pleasuring himself.
