A mother was arrested after getting into a fight with a student who she believed was disrespecting her.
Police in California, were called after teachers were forced to intervene and they broke up the fight between the mother and some students.
Erin Sims, 49, the mother of a Glendora High School student, was arrested after getting into a fight with the teenager on campus.
The entire incident was caught on video. Glendora police were called to the school on the 1600 block of E. Foothill Boulevard around 1:00 p.m.
Sims was seen on video pushing the student who was
being rude to her, according to police. Many students were outside watching and recording the fight.
Sims grabbed the boy at the shirt and began marching him to the front door of the school in an attempt to take him to the principal’s office to be disciplined.
As the mother was holding the teenager by the shirt, her son began to beat the boy with his crutches, according to the video.
The victim’s brother then got involved and hit the boy in an attempt to defend his brother. Sims began walking toward her son and the victim’s brother, while still pulling the victim by the shirt.
“I’m going to f*** you up if he does it again,” Sims was heard screaming at the two brothers.
Teachers and school administrators finally stepped in to break up the fight. Sims was arrested and booked into jail on charges of battery.
