A woman is lucky to be alive after driving her car off the fourth floor of a parking garage in middle of the day, police in Maryland said.
Towson police said that the 20-year-old woman was taken to the Sinai Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries despite plummeting more than 50 feet.
The woman’s small gray car was smashed after landing upside down on the sidewalk. The incident unfolded around 9:00 a.m. on Monday, in the 100 block of Allegheny Avenue.
“An Audi Q5 fell out of the fourth floor of a parking garage and landed upside down on the sidewalk. The driver, a woman in her early 20s, was in the car when it fell, but she was not seriously injured.
“She was transported to Sinai Hospital for treatment. The incident is under investigation by the Precinct 6 Traffic Unit,” the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement.
