(Scroll down for video) Police launched an investigation after a former stripper who was elected to be a judge, was found dead in her home, police in Nevada said.
50-year-old Municipal Judge Diana Hampton of Henderson, was found dead in her home following a welfare check request on Sunday.
Police do not suspect foul play. Hampton served as a municipal judge for more than 10 years. She worked closely with youngsters of her community in order to deter them from getting involved with criminals.
Hampton decided to go to law school and became a judge while she worked as a stripper at a Las Vegas club. She graduated, and was elected to be a judge at Henderson Department 3.
Some criticized the fact that a stripper turned herself into a judge, but Hampton promised that her former career would not influence her rulings.
