The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 26-year-old Lorenzo Ramos of Queens, after being accused of sexually assaulting numerous girls between the ages of 12 and 14.

Ramos was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, one count of first-degree attempted sexual abuse, eight counts of forcible touching, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, three counts of third-degree sexual abuse, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of second-degree harassment.

If convicted, Ramos faces up to seven years in prison and would be required to register as a sex offender. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $31,000.

According to the police investigation, while Ramos was working as an instructor at the United Tae Kwon Doe located at 97-12 Roosevelt Avenue, he approached his four female victims individually and touched them in an inappropriate manner.

He is accused of hugging them, picking them up and grabbing their private parts. In one instance, he is accused of rubbing his private parts on the private parts of a 12-year-old girl.

Ramos offered money to the girls, and told them not to say anything. The matter came to light when the victims told the owners of the martial arts studio about the abuse.

When Ramos was fired, one of the victims told her mother, who alerted the police.
