(Scroll down for video) A baseball player and his wife of Georgia, gathered with friends and family to find out the sex of their baby.

Freddie Freeman, 26, who is baseman for the Atlanta Braves of the Major League Baseball (MLB), and his wife Chelsea, shared a 20-second video, showing Chelsea tossing a ball to her husband.

Inside the ball was a powder, which was going to reveal the sex of their unborn baby. When Freddie Freeman hit the ball with the bat, it broke on impact.

Blue powder bursts out of the baseball as family and friends cheered for the baby boy.

The Freemans announced the pregnancy on social media. “It’s a……!!!! We have no idea until that ball exploded!!,” Chelsea tweeted.

After the ball exploded, an ecstatic Freddie went over and kissed his wife.

Chelsea posted an update on her Facebook page and said: “Everyone keeps asking where I bought the exploding balls. I searched everywhere and couldn’t find where to buy them, so my creative dad figured out how to make them.”

She said that her family will start selling the balls. “They take about an hour each to make and are really easy to mess up. So if you don’t want to do the work, here is a direct link to the new family business,” she wrote.
