(Scroll down for video) A teenage boy died after being shot in the head with a bow and arrow while playing a game with his friends, police in West Virginia said.
Chapmanville police said that 15-year-old Caleb Fairchild, was playing the dodge the arrow game with his friends on Saturday, when he was struck and killed.
The girlfriend of the dead teen, Carlee Adkins, said that the last text message she received from her boyfriend was “bye babe. I love you.”
Police said that they are preparing to file charges against the victim’s friends. Police only identified the suspects as minors who are facing charges of criminally negligent homicide.
The parents of the teens were not present at the time of the shooting.
