Pranksters leave ‘bloody’ box labeled human remains on side of road

(Scroll down for video) Police were called after a bloody box was found on the side of the road.

Police in South Carolina, said that officers were called after the bloody box was found in a ditch near Palmetto Pointe Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

The box was found around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, and was labeled “Human remains, handle with extreme care.”

According to Horry County Police Lt. Raul Denis, the box was carefully bagged by EMS and it was delivered to the Horry County Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said that the box did not contain any human blood. Instead, the pranksters used red coloring.

Inside the box was rotten tomatoes and onions. Police believe they were placed in the ditch by pranksters.
