(Scroll down for video) Police launched an investigation after a little girl was found eating cocaine at a day care center, police in Pennsylvania said.

The Philadelphia Police Department said that they were called to a hospital on a report of a 3-year-old girl who ate cocaine at the Work of Learning Early day care center.

According to the police investigation, the incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the day care center located on 52nd Street near Haverford Avenue.

A worker at the center noticed the 3-year-old girl eating cocaine and took her to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The child tested positive for cocaine, and doctors notified the police.

The girl was held overnight in the hospital for observation. Police do not believe that the child found the cocaine in the day care center, saying that the girl was playing outside before being seen with the drug.
