(Scroll down for video) A man who was jailed for shooting a congresswoman, filed a $25 million lawsuit against his victim because he is suffering emotional distress, according to court documents in Arizona.
27-year-old Jared Lee Loughner of Phoenix, shot Gabrielle Giffords while she was at a supermarket.
Six people were killed in the shooting while 13 people were injured. In the lawsuit, Loughner wants Giffords to pay him $25 million because she is causing him emotional distress.
He is also asking for his immediate release from prison, saying that he is innocent since he never shot anyone. Loughner complained about his condition in prison, saying that he is not getting food or medication.
Loughner also alleges that he is being waterboarded everyday by federal agents. Court officials said in a statement that they believe another person filed the lawsuit on behalf of Loughner.
