(Scroll down for video) An emergency room doctor was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after allegedly sexual assaulting several women who came to get treatment at a hospital, police in New York said.
The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 45-year-old David Newman of Manhattan, after allegedly sexually abusing at least four women at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
Newman was charged with one count of sexual abuse in the first degree and four counts of sexual abuse in the third degree.
According to the police investigation, Newman sexually abused four female patients between the ages of 18 and 29, who were seeking medical care at Mount Sinai Hospital’s emergency room.
On three separate occasions, Newman allegedly sexually abused three women who came to the emergency room for illnesses including a headache, a cold and a rash.
On a fourth occasion, Newman sexually abused a female patient being treated for shoulder pain after sedating her with medication that he administered.
