(Scroll down for video) A JetBlue flight attendant removed her high heel Gucci shoes so she can run from TSA agents.
32-year-old Marsha-Gay Reynolds was accused of trying to smuggle 68 pounds of cocaine through Los Angeles International Airport in California.
She was pulled aside by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for a random check as flight attendants are not subject to the same security screening as passengers.
When the TSA agents left her alone for a moment, Reynold, a former Jamaican beauty queen and college track athlete, made a phone call and spoke in a language they did not understand.
She then took off her high heel Gucci shoes and she ran barefoot from the airport. The woman managed to catch a flight to New York, where she lives.
She then turned herself in to police. Police said that the drugs have a street value of $3 million.
Reynold was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Her bail was set at $500,000.
If convicted, Reynolds could face at least 10 years in prison, prosecutors said.
