Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of theft after allegedly trying to walk out a store with tools, police in Pennsylvania said.

West Norriton Township police said that the man brought the 11-year-old boy he was babysitting to the Walmart located on Trooper Road last Thursday evening, and he placed tools into a shopping cart.

He then tried to walk out of the store, but he was stopped by security guards. When the man realized that he was caught, he told the boy to contact his mother and ran away.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, took custody of the boy and handed him over to his mother. The mother told police that the man was babysitting her child, but she only gave them his first name.

The mother is refusing to cooperate with the police. The police notified the department of child services about the incident. So far, no arrests have been made.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male between 30 and 40 years old, around 5 feet and 5 inches tall, and weighing around 190 pounds.
