(Scroll down for video) A teacher set his students hand on fire in front of other students as part of a science lesson, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.
The teacher at the Hope Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was talking to students about methane gas when called up the son of Steven Takata to assist him.
The teacher, who was not identified, instructed the student to dip his hand in a bowl of soap bubbles filled with methane gas and then used a lighter to ignite it.
The methane gas bubbles became a ball of fire for a brief moment and engulfed the child's hand. The fire went out and the child was not injured.
The video of the lesson was uploaded to YouTube, where it went viral.
