(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of sex trafficking after allegedly locking up four women in his apartment and selling them for sex with other men, police in Michigan said.
Detroit police said that they have arrested 32-year-old Ryon Travis, after being accused of keeping his wives locked in his apartment and inviting men to have sex with one of them at a time in exchange for cash.
Travis was charged with sex trafficking, fraud or coercion, and producing, possessing and distributing child pornography. He was booked into jail, and denied bail. If convicted, Travis faces up to life in prison.
According to the police, when officers entered the suspect's home to investigate identity theft and fraud, they confiscated two cellphones.
Police also found three women in the home, but Travis told them that they were his wives.
Investigators found images of child pornography on the phones, including pictures of children under 12 years old having sex with adult men.
About two weeks later, police raided the home, where they found a fourth woman chained to a stripper pole by the neck with a padlock.
The women told the police that Travis was selling them for sex, and they had been in the house for two years. When buyers came to see them, they would have to pay money upfront before choosing one woman.
