Police called after Daimler shareholders fight over free hot dogs during shareholder meeting

It seems like Daimler shareholders are more concerned about their hot dogs than Mercedes.

Police in Germany, were called to the annual Daimler shareholder meeting after a fight broke out over hot dogs.

Berlin police said that the incident unfolded on Tuesday around 12:00 p.m.

The company said that it ordered 12,500 hot dogs for the expected 6,000 shareholders who planned to attend the annual shareholder meeting.

However, when one shareholder decided to pack up some hot dogs for his family members, a fight broke out. As the fight turned violent, police were called to defuse the situation.

No arrests were made.

In response, the company said that for their next shareholder meeting, they plan to order much more hot dogs in order to prevent fights.

Daimler is the parent company of Mercedes.
