(Scroll down for video) A woman hid a recorder in her hair so she can hear what doctors and hospital staff do during surgery.

Ethel Easter of Harris County, Texas, hid the small recorder in her hair extension after she had an unpleasant encounter with her doctor.

The bad blood between the two began when Easter wanted an earlier appointment for the surgery. She was told that she will have to wait two months to have her hernia surgery.

Easter said that she told the surgeon that she was too ill to wait two months. According to her, the doctor replied: “who do you think you are? You have to wait just like everybody else.”

When the date of her surgery finally arrived, Easter hid the recorder in her hair. As soon as she fell asleep, the surgeon was heard talking about her with colleagues.

The surgeon and other hospital staff were heard laughing and making disparaging comments about Easter.

The surgeon was heard saying: “She is a handful, she had some choice words for us in the clinic when we didn’t book her case in two weeks.”

He then went on to describe how Easter threatened him that she was going to call a lawyer and file a complaint.

A man was then heard laughing. Another male voice was heard saying: “That doesn’t seem like the thing to say to the person who is going to do your surgery.”

Easter was offended by what she heard after waking up.
