A young woman was arrested on a charge of supplying a poison with intent to procure a miscarriage after her roommates saw her swallowing abortion pills in order to end her pregnancy, police in Ireland said.

Now, the 21-year-old woman of Belfast, who was not identified, has been sentenced to serve three months in prison, but the term was suspended for one year.

According to the police, officers received a call from the woman’s roommates, saying that she bought abortion drugs online and used it to end her pregnancy.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, found a male fetus inside a black bag in a bucket. The court heard that the woman told her roommates that she tried to arrange an abortion in England, but was unable to cover the costs.

She was then informed by a clinic that two drugs could induce a miscarriage, and she can purchase them on the Internet.

The woman bought the drugs and swallowed them. After having the miscarriage, her roommates became angry with her attitude towards abortion and called the police.
