A casino manager was arrested on a charge of sexual intercourse by threats or intimidation after allegedly forcing a female colleague to perform sex acts on him by threatening to have her fired, police in Australia said.

Mitchell Park police said that they have arrested 37-year-old John Awad, after being accused of intimidating his female coworker and getting her to perform sex acts on him for three years, in the casino and in his car.

Awad has been charged with indecent assault and four counts of procuring sexual intercourse by threats or intimidation.

According to the police investigation, the first alleged crime occurred in Awad’s office at the SkyCity casino shortly after the woman got her job.

Awad told her that she looked wonderful and lovely before bending over and kissing her on the mouth. She rejected his advances and told him to back off.

Awad then told her that as long as she took care of his sexual needs her job will be safe. Awad made it clear that sex was part of the agreement to keep her job, according to the police.

Fore the next three years, the woman, who was not identified, was forced to perform sex acts on Awad.
